Chief Technology Officer
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Prodigy is a Core and Cloud Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO), created with a vision of collaboration and desire to own their future. They have taken the Fintech model to create an open, modern, API focused core software platform. The core is a native browser based, cloud centered platform that is beautifully designed and simple to use. The network is an open architecture ecosystem where credit unions can own their future and the systems they choose to operate.
The next Chief Technology Officer at Prodigy will be a key member of the Executive team, providing leadership oversight in making executive technology, managing a technology budget, and making investments that align the company with its overall vision. The candidate should be strategically minded and focused, an effective communicator and expert in technological development with specific and extensive experience in software development, lifecycles, and modernizing applications.
Prodigy is seeking a Chief Technology Officer who will:
- Set a vision and strategic design for how technology will be used in in the company.
- Direct the acquisition, management, and implementation of enterprise-wide technology.
- Chair the architecture board and set the agenda to manage all aspects of strategic business initiatives.
- Make executive decisions on behalf of the company’s technological requirements.
- Ensure that technological resources meet the company’s short and long-term needs.
- Lead all modernization efforts determined to have business value.
- Create timelines for the development and deployment of all technological and security services.
- Maintain a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivery of IT projects to market.
- Manage technology budgets, IT Assets, lifecycle program and time frames.
- Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
- Lead and Manage the DevSecOps team and mentor team members to ensure proper career and personal growth.
The ideal candidate will be creative and forward thinking while also executing to plan with an advanced technological skillset with background in cloud native, service oriented, and monolithic architecture.
The candidate should have at least eight (8) years of experience in a technological role with a minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. MBA or master’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
