Every credit union CEO works for different reasons. And while there is more to a job than pay, we know that the right compensation package helps not only help recruit the right CEO for a credit union, but gives the CEO the motivation to stay.

Here is the general system we follow:
Discuss the Board’s philosophical approach to compensation
Review the market and provide what’s required to attract and retain talent, including retirement options and bonus strategies
Search internally and externally for the right organizational fit
Work with the new CEO to onboard effectively for six to 12 months
